CLASSIC GARDENS OF BRITTANY, NORMANDY & KENT - Friday 6th to Monday 23rd May 2016
|
FRANCE & ENGLAND'S FINEST
Many of the best and most beautiful gardens in France and Britain are found on either side of the English Channel, where a temperate climate and chalky soil are responsible for the most spectacular flowers in both countries. This holiday is specially timed to see these gardens at their best, when the spring flowers are still abundant, but summer is a comin' in, with the sweet scent of roses filling the air. We visit both the famous and private gardens in both countries, as well as enjoying the two distinct cultures that are separated by just a few kilometres of water. A gardener's delight and with plenty of interest for the non-gardener as well, as we explore some of the prettiest villages in France & England, steeped in a thousand years of history.
