 ROMANIA'ROMANIA, BULGARIA & THE DANUBE'
Wednesday 10th to Monday 29th May 2017

The holiday centres around a fascinating cruise down the Lower Danube, and visits highlights of Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Croatia. The first part of our holiday is based on land and by coach - exploring magnificent gardens, colourful traditions and beautiful countryside, as well as world class cultural heritage. We then board a luxury riverboat to sail down from Budapest through the gorges and mountain scenery of the Lower Danube River to the fascinating Danube delta and Bucharest. Each day we leave the boat to explore countryside, historic towns and traditional way of life. It is an exceptionally interesting area, and a relaxing way to see it all from the comfort of a luxury river boat.

You can choose to 'ADD ON 2 DAYS IN PRAGUE' Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th May 2017
If you have not visited Prague before, add on two extra days to enjoy sightseeing and exploring this exciting city with Merryle and David.

MONTENEGRO'A ROAD LESS TRAVELLED - ALONG THE ADRIATIC - MONTENEGRO TO VENICE'
Sunday 21st May to Friday 2nd June 2017

A SMALL GROUP TOUR - A Food Lovers Adventure escorted by David and Lucy. 
Food Lovers Adventure escorted by David and Lucy. Commencing in Montenegro, "The pearl of the Adriatic", we take a leisurely drive north along the Adriatic coast to Venice, exploring the food, wine, culture and history of this fascinating region, not to mention seeing some of the most spectacular scenery in South Eastern Europe. We visit the magnificent Bay of Kotor, Dubrovnik, the Makarska Riviera and nearby Croatian islands, the stunning waterfalls of Krka and lakes of Plitvice and finally the Istrian peninsular, renowned for its wine and truffles.

You can choose to 'ADD ON DAYS IN VENICE' Friday 2nd to Monday 5th June 2017.
Our final destination of Venice will be offered as an 'Add on' to the main tour, as many of our travellers have visited before, but of course there is always something new to explore in this unique city. For those not wishing to stay in Venice, there will be an escorted transfer to Venice Airport.

At the end of the 'ROMANIA, BULGARIA & DANUBE' Holiday, you can choose to add on this holiday, or take as a seperate holiday.

Small Group Adventure - An adventure up into the wildflower meadows and Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. Spectacular in every way. We are there in peak flower season.  We visit some of the last remaining untouched traditional areas of Europe, where hay is still raked by hand and Prince Charles is buying up the mountain meadows to save the astonishing wildflowers. Painted villages that have not changed in centuries, breathtaking mountain scenery, and an adventure into a vanishing way of life.

Scotland's majestic highlands & the romance of England's north.
A summer jaunt through the Scottish Highlands and northern counties of England. A gardener's delight, with plenty for the non-gardener as well. Britain's north is renowned for rural beauty, as seen on the numerous TV shows set amongst this picturesque and highly photogenic landscape. We make our way through the Scottish Highlands to visit the west coast and some extraordinary gardens nurtured by the warm Gulf Stream. This is the best time of year to visit these gardens, which flourish with flowers during their short summer.

Plus you can choose to add on 'Hampton Court Flower Show' on the 5th July 2017.

We explore this rich region of U.S.A. and Canada, including vibrant Seattle with its wonderful galleries and spectacular Space industry museum. We then cruise into British Columbia to visit some of Canada's best loved and most beautiful places and gardens. This tour has such a diversity of sights and landscape, world class private gardens filled with flowers, plus so many other sights to interest all. The perfect holiday for a gardener travelling with a non-gardener.

The holiday is "Japan in a nutshell" - we experience the finest Japanese culture, history, shopping, crafts, scenery and food. The holiday is perfect for gardeners and non-gardeners to enjoy Japan together. First we stay in scenically spectacular Nikko National Park to experience Japan's wonders of nature. Then on to see a very different Japan, the bustling excitement, shopping and entertainment of Tokyo. We also have several multiple night stays to take in the "Must See" sights of Mt. Fuji; the mountain forests in autumn colour; beautiful coasts and islands of the Inland Sea; and absorb an ancient culture in several historic towns.
